So, Wiggi World is coming along nicely.
We are working on the up and coming "arcade" where the little kiddies can go to play games, but unfortunately we're so under the gun time-wise that we won't have much time to fill the arcade with games, so I had an idea:
Why not hold a competition on Newgrounds to attract some games for the competition?
So I ran it past the powers that be at Wiggi World and got a ton of prize money approved:
1st place - $4000
2nd place - $1750
3rd place - $750
4-7th places - $500 each
I contacted Tom Fulp, the creator of Newgrounds, and he, being the ultra-cool guy that he is, approved the idea and made the contest public last week.
Already there's a good buzz going around Newgrounds about it with people really salivating about the prize money. It's raised a lot of eyebrows because Newgrounds is definitely not known for kid-friendly stuff, but there's a lot of talent floating around there for flash games, so I hope this all turns out well!
