Our old 1970's TV that an ex-roommate gave us went on the fritz over the weekend. Luckilly there's a TV repair shop right next door, so we hauled the ultra-heavy Televisor down to the shop...but not to have it fixed mind-you, just to donate it for parts. On the same trip we headed to Costco to BUY A NEW TV!!!!!
We bought a 37'' LCD "Vizio" brand HDTV...it is very nice.
Ironically, the word "Vizio" in Italian means "Vice" like, "smoking is a vice." I guess people who buy these kinds of TVs probably have a vice for movies or videogames or something.
