Hoorah! Bella's 2nd Birthday! This year's theme was Bella's favorite monster in the world "ELMO!"
Circle Got the idea to make a pinata for the party...this turned out to be an excellent idea because it made the party as much fun for the adults as for the kids.
Circle went a little overboard on the size of the pinata though:
Seriously though, this pinata was like 4 feet tall and had skin thicker than an actual red, furry, high-pitched monster.
My Mom came out to visit for the party with her digital camera so the event has been thoroughly documented.
Bella had a great time, and a ton of the kids from the church nursery came and enjoyed themselves too. It rained the whole time, but Circle, smart woman that she is, reserved us a covered booth in the park. So, while the storm raged outside of our pavilion, the inner storm to destroy a life-sized Elmo raged in each parent's heart.
